MQM worker's killing: Police officials' sent on 13-day physical remand

Summary Sub-inspector Zameer Hussain alongwith others were arrested on the directions of IG Sindh.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - A judicial court has sent police officials  on 13-day physical remand today (Friday) in MQM’s worker killing case, Dunya News reported.

The police officials were presented before judicial magistrate west’s court where the police requested to grant them the suspects remand for investigation.

Sub-inspector Zameer Hussain alongwith others were arrested on the directions of Inspector General (IG) Sindh.

Earlier Waseem and his two brothers were taken into custody where Wasem died due to police torture.

The victim’s family staged a protest against his killing and demanded to release his brothers.

Later, both the brothers were freed from custody whereas Senior House Officer (SHO) Baldia was suspended from his post.
