QUETTA (Dunya News) - Anti-polio campaign throughout Balochistan could not be initiated today (Friday) due to lack of security arrangements, Dunya News reported.
As per details, the polio drive was deferred as security concerns prevail in the province.
Besides this, the polio drive which began immediately after the detection of the virus in Quetta and Qila Abdullah has also been suspended after one day.
At least two and a half lac children will be affected from the termination of the polio drive whereas administration is of the view that the campaign will be launched in a few days after provision of security.
