Summary The government is currently consulting over two names for the post of Sindh Governor.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – The federal government has started consultation on Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad`s replacement, Dunya News reported.
According to sources, two names are being reviewed for post but the government will take final decision after consultation with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari.
Sources revealed that the government had decided to remove Governor Ishratul Ibad after Saulat Mirza’s confession, however, the process was halted due to Safoora Chowrangi incident.
It is highly likely that Ishratul Ibad might forward his resignation to the federal government after his daughter`s marriage.
