Summary Qaim Ali Shah was chairing a meeting in CM House Karachi to discuss the water crises in Karachi
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Chief Minister (CM) Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah chaired a meeting in CM House Karachi on Saturday to discuss the water crises in the city. Chief Secretary Sindh, Secretary Local Government, Commissioner Karachi and Managing Director (MD) Water Board participated in the meeting.
CM Sindh issued 120 million rupees to install new cables for electricity in pumping stations of Water Board. CM was briefed by the officials that the process of water supply has improved after the administration’s steps like providing free water tankers, repairing pumping stations and no load shedding on important pumping stations. Water Board has appointed chief engineer Noor Ahmed Chohan as the focal person in order to control Naegleria, on the orders of CM Sindh.
