Summary On May 23 the police dressed in civil circled the SHC
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) South Chaudhry Asad on Tuesday has been removed from the post following the brutal torture of journalists outside the Sindh High Court (SHC).
The Sindh Police has directed SSP South to report to the Central Police Office after removing him from the post as the police dressed in civil tortured the journalists and circled the SHC on May 23.
SSP West Ghulam Asfar has been given the charge of South for the time being. While SSP Pir Muhammad Shah has assumed charge as SSP Central in addition to his post.
