LAHORE (Web Desk) - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif today (Thursday) visited the family that lost six children in the fire that broke out in a house in Shadbagh area of Lahore on Sunday.
The Chief Minister met with the bereaved family and the heirs of the children and expressed his sympathies. He consoled the father of the deceased kids and assured him all sort of cooperation and assistance.

Talking to the media, Shahbaz Sharif said that stern action will be taken against the persons responsible for this tragedy and they would be brought to justice.
He said that he would monitor the investigation of the incident by himself.
The Chief Minister directed to constitute a special committee, led by Chairman of the CM Inspection Team to investigate the matter.
As per details, rescue services reached the scene an hour after being alerted to the blaze. Three boys aged five to 12 were burned to death, while three girls -- ages seven, nine and 15 -- died of suffocation.
