Summary Report said 25 passengers received 2 to 4 bullets each while 18 received 1 bullet each
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Counter Terrorism Department has prepared investigation report of the Safoora Chowrangi attack in Karachi that left as many as forty six people of the minority Ismaili community dead, Dunya News reported.
The report outlines the details of how the attack took place as per the forensics. At least four terrorists entered the bus and shot from the point blank range.
As per the report, twenty five passengers received two to four bullets each while eighteen passengers received 1 bullet each.
According to details, the investigation of the massacre is ongoing but the counter terrorism department has prepared a preliminary report that says victims were shot from point blank range.
The evidence of involvement of banned terrorist organizations has also been found.
Reportedly, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has also sent its preliminary report of the incident to the federal Interior Ministry.
Sources said the FIA also sent along with report the photos from the crime scene and shells of the bullets recovered from the bus. The report said that two different kinds of weapons were used for the massacre.
The preliminary reports cite the autopsy reports that conclude twenty give passengers received two to four bullets each while eighteen passengers received one bullet each.
The autopsy found wound of a sharp-edged weapon on bodies of a man and a woman.
