ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is chairing a meeting of prliamentary leaders in Islamabad on Wednesday to take them into confidence over China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, the Radio Pakistan reported.
Addressing the participants, Nawaz Sharif said the present government believes to resolve all national issues through mutual consultation and consensus to move forward the country on the path of progress.
The Prime Minister said consultation is spirit of democracy and we have always taken the Parliament into confidence on all important national issues including economy, security, and terrorism.
He said despite differences on various issues we have to make sincere efforts to move forward the country towards real progress.
The Prime Minister also strongly condemned today s tragic incident in Karachi and said the terrorists targeted innocent, patriotic and peaceful people.
He said it is an attempt to spread anarchy in the society but we will deal it with strong hands.
The meeting also offered dua for the victims of the incident.
