Khursheed Shah asks govt to clear reservations over change in CPEC route

Summary Khursheed Shah further urged the government to meet the demands of KP government.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah on Wednesday stated that the political parties don’t want any delay in China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) whereas he further hoped that the Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif would clear the reservations of parties over alleged change in CPEC, Dunya News reported.

While talking to the Dunya News, he assured to raise the matter of economic zone in All Parties Conference (APC) and thanked the government for lauding the policies of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).

Khursheed Shah further urged the government to meet the demands of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and to supply cheap electricity to the province.

Moreover, PM Nawaz Sharif has convened a meeting of parliamentary leaders in Islamabad today to brief them over change in CPEC route, Dunya News reported.

According to details, the meeting is part of PM’s decision to take political parties into confidence over China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar will brief the parliamentary leaders.
