RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shahbaz Sharif on Sunday paid an emergency visit to Metro bus terminal in Rawalpindi to review the ongoing implementation of project and directed the administration to complete the project as early as possible.

Commissioner Rawalpindi Zahid Saeed briefed CM Punjab regarding the process of Metro bus construction and said that the project faced delay due to the sit-ins of Imran Khan and Tahir-ul-Qadri.

He further told Shahbaz Sharif that CCTV cameras have also been installed at as many as 24 metro bus stations.

While talking to media, CM Punjab assured to commence the Metro bus service in Rawalpindi soon and lauded the efforts of engineers and laborers.
