ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – National Database Regulatory Authority (NADRA) chairman Usman Yousaf Mubin on Wednesday said that the NA 122 investigation report is sealed so an impression that such a report has been given to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan is wrong.

Talking to media, NADRA chairman strongly rejected the reports that NADRA’s findings for NA 122 constituency have been given to PTI chief.

He said the investigation report of Lahore’s constituency NA 122 is sealed. Mubin said that chairman PTI had announced to visit NADRA, adding that what else could NADRA say other than welcoming Imran Khan.

Mubin said Khan was not invited for meeting. He said PTI chief asked about NA 122 report and the hold up in its release which, he said, was clarified.

He said Imran Khan was told that NADRA operates as per the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), adding that Khan expressed satisfaction over the response.

Chairman NADRA said that they are working with impartiality and that such an impression that Khan came out of NADRA while gaining something is wrong.

“Our institution is impartial and doesn’t operate under anyone’s pressure”, he said.

Mubeen said that Election Tribunal never gave NADRA any deadline and that the impression that the report is delayed is wrong.
