BADIN (Dunya News) - Former Speaker National Assembly Dr. Fahmida Mirza on Wednesday demanded Chief Justice of Pakistan and the federal government to take notice of the situation in Badin, Dunya News reported.
Fahmida Mirza reached Badin late night where while talking to media, she said that she traveled all the way from Karachi with no security.
A strong contingent of heavily armed police personnel and armoured personnel carriers (APC) had surrounded the Mirza farms in Badin whereas all the entry and exit points have also been sealed on which Fahmida Mirza showed great anger and fury.
She also exchanged words with policemen, asking them to leave the venue as she doesn’t want any security now.
She said that Zulfiqar Mirza is being asked to surrender but he would not able to go to court in the presence of heavy police deployment.
She also stated that Sindh police is political and is clearly ignoring the orders of court.
Moreover, Fahmida Mirza questioned that at whose behest SSP has registered fourth FIR against Zulfiqar Mirza.
