KARACHI (Dunya News) – Brouhaha was witnessed in Sindh Assembly (SA) as political parties including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) tried to table a resolution against the chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) over his recent statements against national security units, Dunya News reported on Tuesday.

Sindh Assembly’s session was started, after a delay of about one hour, under the supervision of Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani.

During the meeting, PTI, PML-N and PML-F once again attempted to table a resolution against Altaf Hussain upon which Speaker Agha Siraj stated that seven days are required to take up any resolution so the house should not instruct him on this issue.

Meanwhile, education minister Nisar Khoro termed Speaker’s rolling as the ultimate step whereas he further claimed that there are few people who are continuously busy in point scoring creating a ruckus situation between the leaders of political parties and speaker.

The MPAs further demanded to table a resolution against Altaf Hussain.

Taking an action of the rumpus, the Speaker closed the microphones of leaders as the House chanted ‘Shame Shame’ slogans for the senior minister.

Moreover, Speaker Agha Siraj threatened the participation to send reference notice against the violent MPAs.
