Summary Army paramedics have set up a field hospital in Bhaktapur town near Kathmandu to treat the victims.

(Web Desk) - The second baby born in a field hospital set up by Pak Army in quake-hit Nepal has been named  Pakistan , the ISPR reported on Monday. 

The 30-bed field hospital has been set up by Pakistan in Bhaktapur town near Kathmandu to treat the victims. 

Last week, a baby born in the same field hospital was named after Pakistan s historic city of Lahore.

The 7.9-magnitude earthquake killed over 7,000 people and injured nearly 14,000 others as it flattened buildings and uprooted electric poles and trees in one of the worst disasters in the country.

According to the UN, around 8 million people have been affected, of whom approximately 1,26,000 are pregnant women.
