ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Imran Khan on Monday called for accountability of the Returning Officers (ROs) of NA-125 involved in rigging. He said that ROs should be questioned as to who gave the directions for rigging, reported Dunya News.

Talking to media after results of NA-125 probe, Imran Khan said that if it were not for the sit-ins for 126 days, the results of rigging would have never been exposed.

Imran Khan said that 2015 would be the year of elections after judicial commission’s verdicts would be released.

He said that the ROs should be summoned by judicial commission and should be questioned as to who gave the directions for rigging.

He warned against holding elections in the constituency, saying that until the people responsible for rigging were not found, holding elections would be of no consequences.

Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PT) questioned as to why someone who had not won the elections fairly had been appointed as Railway Minister for the past 2 years.

Criticizing Khawaja Saad Rafique’s statements, Imran Khan said that the former should stop lying to the masses regarding his involvement in the rigging.

Commenting on the role of tribunal, Imran Khan said that it is not the judge’s job to tell the name of people involved in rigging adding that judicial commission will only tell who is involved in systematic rigging.

Imran Khan accussed that National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) is being coerced into stopping NA-122 report.

Chairman PTI said that he would go to chairman NADRA if the report are not released till coming week.
