LAHORE (Dunya News) - Load shedding continued to persist in the country as the urban areas are facing power cut of seven hours while the rural areas have hit by 11 hours electricity outage, Dunya News reported on Monday.
National Transmission and Despatch Company (NTDC) has reported that the power demand has escalated to 15,100 megawatts and the production has restricted to only 10,500 megawatts.
Electricity demand can also be increased due to dry and hot weather disrupting the power outage schedule whereas the same cause has also created several problems to the residents.
