Summary The post of Sindh Assembly Opposition Leader was being held by Shahryar Mehr.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM’s) Khawaja Izhar-ul-Hassan has been appointed as opposition leader in Sindh assembly after the resignation of Sheheryar Mehr today (Wednesday), Dunya News reported.
According to details, the request was submitted to secretary Sindh assembly by MQM, on which the speaker Agha Siraj Durrani issued notification of Khwaja Izhar-ul-Hassan’s appointment.
On the other side, Sheheryar Mehr has submitted his resignation to Sindh assembly’s secretary.
