Summary General Raheel Sharif inspected Corps Headquarters Bahawalpur and met with officers and soldiers
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Tuesday expressed his resolve to bring Pakistan on track to prosperity, saying that no challenge is insurmountable for carrying Pakistan to success, reported Dunya News.
Army Chief General Raheel Sharif visited Corps Headquarters Bahawalpur and met with officers and soldiers.
General Raheel Sharif paid tribute to sacrifices rendered by the armed forces in line of duty and praised Army’s operational successes.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Army Chief said that the young generation is an asset to the country and efforts should be put in to provide them with a peaceful environment adding that youngsters should be encouraged in their endeavors.
General Raheel Sharif said that efforts against terrorism are being met with success. He said that order has been returned to the country due to ongoing operation Zarb-e-Azb.
The Army Chief expressed resolve against terrorism, saying that the terrorist network will be effectively destroyed adding that the terrorists present in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) are being cut off from other parts of country.
