Summary Khan should approach court with proofs or get ready to face trial himself, says MQM chief
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Tuesday has said that the allegations leveled by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan are baseless and reprehensible.
Hussain said that Khan, in an interview with a private channel said that people in the NA-246 constituency thanked him by saying that MQM workers used to come to their homes and ask for extortion money. But because of him, now they are coming to their homes to ask for votes, he added.
MQM chief said that leveling allegations on any political party without substantial proof has parallels with a murder. Khan also said that every policeman who participated in the operation in Karachi headed by Naseerullah Babar was killed, he added.
How could MQM get around one lac votes if the party carries out target killing? Party leader asked.
Hussain demanded Khan to apologise to MQM infront of the entire nation. He further said that he should approach court with proofs and evidences otherwise he should get ready to face trial himself.
