National Assembly passes resolutions to help Nepal, KP victims

Summary Parliamentarians offered Fateha for the departed souls of KP rainstorm victims

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – National Assembly passed resolutions for victims of Nepal and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Monday in Islamabad. Assembly session was chaired by Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.

The Parliamentarians offered Fateha for the departed souls of KP rainstorm victims. It was stated in the resolution that the nation stands with the affected families of KP. Government of KP was asked to take steps for the rehabilitation of the victim families.

National Assembly also passed a resolution with consensus for the victims of Nepal earthquake. The resolution stated that Pakistanis are standing with their Nepali brothers in their time of trouble and Pakistan will help Nepal in every way possible.

Newly elected member of National Assembly Kiran Imran Dar took oath today for the special seat for women that was vacant after Aisha Raza Farooq became senator.
