KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has said that a large number of votes were cast to MQM in NA-246 by-poll and cantonment elections despite of the allegations leveled against the party during media trial, Dunya News reported on Sunday.

While talking to workers in Jinnah ground, he said that in cantonment elections MQM scored second position in Sindh and gained third spot countrywide.

Altaf Hussain said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) members clashed with each other throughout the Punjab province however; only MQM is accused of having an armed wing.

Altaf Hussain also urged to form 20 provinces for improved system in Pakistan whereas he also vowed to continue his struggle for the establishment of democracy.
