Summary The hearings of the appeals against sentences are pending for quite long time
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice (CJ) Manzoor Ahmed Malik on Friday has formed a bench to hold hearing of the appeals of criminals against their sentences.
According to the details, there are many narcotics cases which are pending for quite long. The criminals have been sentenced to different punishments but the hearings of their appeals against sentences are not being held.
CJ Malik has formed a two-member bench to hold hearings of the appeals and issue verdicts on priority basis.
The bench comprising of Justice Anwarul Haq and Justice Mamoonur Rasheed will start hearing of the pending cases from April 27.
