MULTAN (Dunya News) – Alleged police torture has claimed life of a 45-year-old man in Multan over minor land dispute, Dunya News reported on Thursday.
As per details, landlord filed a case against Ashiq Hussain over minor land dispute at Muzaffarabad police station acting on which the police personnel apprehended him.
Despite a continuous appeal of family members to release Ashiq Hussain for his daughters and son marriage, police didn’t grant him bail and brutally beaten him up till death.
Bereaved family staged a protest against Muzaffarabad police to mourn over the incident and also demanded the higher officials to take strict action.
