KARACHI (Dunya News) – 11 Pakistanis stranded in Yemen reached Karachi through Pakistan International Airline (PIA) today (Thursday), Dunya News reported.

According to details, the evacuees reached Pakistan safely through PIA flight PK-732 and were received warmly by their relatives on airport.

While talking to media, one of the compatriots Sultana Salam said that they first reached Jeddah from Yemen and then to Pakistan through PIA airline. She stated that the days spent in Yemen during war cannot be forgotten however; she is happy that she reached home safely.

She also said that a large number of Pakistanis are still present in Yemen therefore the government should make quick arrangements for their return.

Speaking on this occasion, community leader Saram Barni said that at least 1000 standees’ have reached Pakistan however; a large number of Pakistanis are still present there.

He urged that government should also put an effort to bring back the jailed Pakistanis in Yemen.
