Summary NEPRA has refused to put the price of delay of 3 years in project making onto the customers

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) -- National Electric Power Regulation Authority (NEPRA) on Wednesday approved the tarrif of Nandipur power project. Tarrif has been set at 11 rupees 30 paisas per unit.Total cost of project is estimated to be 45 billion 300 million rupees, reported Dunya News.

NEPRA has approved the budget of 45 billion 300 million rupees in lieu of a 69 billion rupees budget for the 425 Megawatt Nandipur project.

NEPRA has also refused to approve budget of 8 crore rupees for the purpose of documentary and advertisement on behalf on Prime Minster.

NEPRA has refused to put the price of delay of 3 years in project making onto the customers.

The reason given by NEPRA is that th multiple documents elaborating the expenses of Nandipur projects were not complete.
