LONDON: (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has on Tuesday said that money-laundering cases against him were fake and will end soon. He rejected all the allegations of money-laundering, saying they were a conspiracy against him, reported Dunya News.

Addressing a press conference at MQM’s London secretariat after extension in his bail till July, Altaf Hussain said that conspiracies were hatched against him in London as well after Pakistan but enemies will have to face the defeat. He said that he was released on bail by the Metropolitan Police because his workers prayed for him. “Workers don’t need to worry. They will take me again and I will come back again”, he said.

Altaf Hussain said that NA-246 will also come back to MQM like he had come back from police station. He said that some analysts kept mourning on his release.

Responding to a question, MQM chief said that he trusted Scotland Yard’s investigations in Imran Farooq murder case. He prayed for the arrest of the murderers. “Investigations are still going on so can’t talk much about it”, he added.

According to sources, he was probed for over 5 hours. Police did not act aggressively while interviewing Altaf and Altaf also remained cool while answering their questions.
