ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – President Mamnoon Hussain on Tuesday has assured that the government is keen in sorting out the issues related to economy, poverty, food security, human resource and preservation of natural resources, Dunay News reported.
While talking to the participants of the conference on Agriculture and natural resources-issues and reforms in Islamabad, president Mamnoon termed agriculture and natural resources vital to economy and development of the country.
‘Government wants to grow food sector by ensuring food security and its availability’, he added.
President hoped that International Food Policy Research Institute, USAID and Pakistan would altogether contribute towards the betterment of the country.
Moreover, he appealed to the nation to cooperate with government in fighting the crisis.
