HYDERABAD (Web Desk) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has arrived in Hyderabad today (Wednesday) through a special plane. Khan left the airport without meeting his supporters who were waiting for him outside, Dunya News reported.
As per details, the PTI chief was forced to depart from another exit of the airport when a scuffle broke out between PTI workers who were there to welcome him.
At first, the PTI chief will visit the shrine of great sufi saint Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai. He will meet political leaders and attend different functions.
Later at night, he will visit Karachi to review party`s preparations in NA-246 constituency ahead of April 23 by-election.
“Today in Sindh I will meet those people who want change,” he told reporters in Islamabad prior to his departure for Hyderabad.
Khan said that security is an issue in Karachi but he is visiting the city to end atmosphere of fear.
“No constituency is property of anyone in the country, anyone can contest from anywhere in democracy,” he added.
The PTI chief said he will talk to Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) leader Sirajul Haq to seek cooperation in NA-246 by-election.
He said there are reports that eggs and tomatoes have reached the MQM headquarters Nine-Zero to welcome him but he is not afraid of anyone. Thursday is dedicated to campaigning in Karachi for NA-246.
