ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A Pakistan International Airline (PIA) special flight carrying 138 stranded Pakistanis from Yemen has landed safely at Islamabad airport, Dunya News reported.

A large number of people were there at the airport to welcome their loved ones upon arrival.

According to details, PIA’s 3rd special flight Airbus A310 carrier has transported another 138 passengers safely from Sanaa.

The flight departed from Karachi in the morning but had to circle in the air for at least two hours before getting permission to land.

Reportedly, the boarding process took as many as three hours, after which, the flight took off for Islamabad.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Navy’s ship is heading towards Karachi with another 183 Pakistanis from Al-Makla.
