KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) candidate from NA-246 Imran Ismail has on Sunday demanded deployment of army officers in NA-246 for the by-elections, reported Dunya News.

Holding a press conference in Karachi, Imran Ismail said that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) candidate from NA-246 Kunwar Naved Jamil was behind the attack on PTI’s camp office in Karimabad and therefore, army should be deployed on the election day to ensure security of the workers, political agents and voters.

“To avoid bloodshed, army must be deployed”, said PTI candidate. He said that the PTI workers were unable to run the door-to-door campaign because of the fear but MQM must remember that PTI would never back off.
