Summary Fear of violence and loss of business are reasons cited in the letter
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The shopkeepers around Karachi’s Karimabad area have written to Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) seeking removal of PTI’s camp from the area citing fear of loss, Dunya News reported.
According to details, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had erected a campaigning camp at Karimabad area which was vandalized earlier today.
The shopkeepers from around the area have written to ECP asking for removal of the camp saying the shops and shopkeepers around the camp area face threat of violence and that their business are being affected.
The application asks ECP not to allow any party to erect a camp office in the vicinity.
