Summary Attack on PTI’s election camp was clearly an act of terrorism, say PTI leaders
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) candidate for NA-246 by-election Imran Ismail has on Friday said that if any of the PTI workers gets hurt, the FIR will be registered against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain in London. He said that Governor Sindh Dr. Ishratul Ibad had guaranteed peaceful situation, now he should ask MQM why they violated the code of conduct, reported Dunya News.
Holding a press conference in Karachi along with other PTI leaders, Imran Ismail said that MQM workers attacked PTI’s election campaign last night. He said that the MQM was trying to scare the people and attack on the camp office was clearly an act of terrorism. “When will the election commission take an action?” he questioned.
Imran Ismail said that MQM has already lost the election and now making mistakes in panic. “I promise that Karachi will once again be made the ‘City of Lights’. All problems including water, electricity, extortion and terrorism will be solved”, he added.
PTI leader Firdous Naqvi said on this occasion that PTI was not the party that would get scared. He said that the people of Karachi love Imran Khan and PTI will become the No. 1 party of Karachi. He further said that the PTI believed in democracy. “Imran Khan will come to NA-246 and hold the biggest public meeting of Pakistan’s history”, he said.
