Karachi: ATC issues arrest warrants of two DSPs, two inspectors

Summary Arrest warrants were issued over continuous absence from the court.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Thursday has issued arrest warrants of two Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) and two inspectors over their absence from the court, Dunya News reported.

The court has directed the Additional Inspector General of Police (IG) to present DSP Deen Muhammad, DSP Khan Tariq and Inspector Ishrat Rana before the court as they don’t take the orders of the court seriously.

On the other hand, court has also issued arrest warrant of Inspector Abid Insari, accused in five cases, for not attending court’s hearing.

The court has also ordered the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) to take the charge of the case and present the witnesses in the court.

Subsequently, the court has adjourned the hearing till April 14.
