ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A meeting of the Pakistan-China Joint Working Group on Wednesday has been held in the capital to discuss various energy and water projects including China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (PCEC).
The energy sector ministers of both countries are participating in the meeting. The Pakistani delegation is headed by Federal Secretary Water and Power Younas Dagha. The meeting aims at reviewing different energy and water projects between the two countries.
The matter of funding for the Bhasha Dam, Dasu, Neelum-Jehlum and projects regarding production of electricity from coal is also being discussed.
The joint working group will give a final shape to the agreements of the projects and matters of funding before Chinese president’s visit to Pakistan.
