MULTAN (Dunya News) – Several pumps in the city on Tuesday have been reported to be closed in connection with the forthcoming increase in the petroleum products’ prices.
The government has increased the petroleum prices by at least Rs 4/litre. Most of the petrol pump owners closed seized the supply late at night and have not placed a new supply order as yet. The people are facing problems due to the shortage.
However, the pump owner maintained that the petrol supply at the oil depot is limited which has led to the closure of pumps. The customers have demanded the district administration to take notice of the staged shortage.
