Summary Finance Minister said that cheap electricity will be produced with the help of atomic energy
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has on Monday said that the atomic energy projects must be completed as soon as possible. He said that cheap electricity will be produced with the help of these atomic energy projects, Dunya News reported.
Presiding over a meeting in Islamabad, Ishaq Dar surveyed the atomic energy projects K-2 and K-3. Secretary Finance Division Saleem Sethi briefed that these projects will be completed on priority basis. Dar said that these projects were the future of Pakistan. “Pakistan cannot afford delay in these projects”, he added.
Finance Minister said that cheap electricity will be produced through atomic energy. He told that the K-2 and K-3 projects were part of the Pak-China Economic Corridor project. He told that the 82% of the funds were being provided by Exim Bank of China while rest of the funds will be given by Pakistan.
