Summary 12-year-old daughter died, Session Court ordered registering the case on victim family's request
GHOTKI: (Dunya News) – A mother and daughter were lynched in Ghotki after being raped on Monday. The daughter, aged 12, died while the Session Court ordered registering the case on the request of the victim family, Dunya News reported.
According to the details, the woman used to sell the handicrafts. She and her daughter were raped first and then lynched. The daughter could not survive the wounds and died. Mother got her statement recorded after gaining her consciousness back. She said that she and her daughter had taken refuge in a house but the landowner gave them something intoxicated and raped both of them afterwards.
The woman told that the hut was set on fire afterwards in order to remove the proofs. The victim family had filed a request before the session court to file an FIR. Session court directed the police to register the case.
DSP Ghotki Hakim Ali told that the court had directed the police to register the FIR and investigate the matter. Hakim Ali said that this incident took place two months ago and no complainant came to police during this period.
