KARACHI (Dunya News) – A petition against the Chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan and Member of National Assembly (MNA) Arif Alvi was filed in Sindh High Court today (Monday) as their alleged telephonic conversation regarding PTV attack surfaced.
The petitioner Faiz-ul-Hassan stated that the post-PTV attack talkof both leaders is against the constitution and pleaded to annul the membership of Arif Alvi.
He further demanded to initiate action against Imran Khan as per law.
Earlier, alleged telephone conversation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan and ex secretary general of party Arif Alvi post-PTV attack during D-Chowk sit-in has surfaced on Friday.
In the audio tape, Alvi tells Khan that the party workers have entered Pakistan Television (PTV). However, Khan instructs Alvi to maintain pressure on the government in order to get Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif to resign and dissolve the assembly.
