Summary 81 polling stations have been declared as sensitive in the district.
MIRPUR (Dunya News) - The process of polling for By-elections in LA-3, Mirpur, is underway, Dunya News reported on Sunday.
The seat was vacated after the resignation of barrister Sultan Mehmood.
Barrister Sultan Mehmood from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI), Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP’s) Chaudhary Muhammad Ashraf, Engineer Nauman Akram from Jamaat-e-Islmai (JI) and independent candidate Aijaz Ahmed Raza are contesting for the election.
Polling will start from 8am and will continue till 5pm.
Moreover, 81 polling stations have been declared as sensitive in the district.
