AZAD KASHMIR (Dunya News) – Police in Azad Kashmir with respect to the National Action Plan (NAP) have initiated a training campaign for educational institutions’ staff especially females to tackle terrorism, Dunya News reported on Friday.

In wake of the deadly attack on the Army Public School that left some 150 people dead, most of them children, the government has started special training sessions for the staff of educational institutions’ along with security forces to deal with any emergency situation.

In this regard, Azad Kashmir police has hold 30 days workshop in the training school for the security of institutions.

 The females were given training sessions to use pistol and rifle in emergency situation.

The teachers have expressed confidence and said that weapons training will help them protect their students whereas the training administration is determined to curb out the curse of terrorism from the country.
