Summary SSU commandos flag marched before their deployment to develop a sense of security among citizens.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Security of more than 30 sensitive installations has been handed over to Special Security Unit (SSU) in Karachi, Dunya News reported on Saturday.

According to details, the decision was made in view of the aggravated situation of law and order in the metropolis.

According to Superintendant Police (SP) Rana Shoaib, the special unit will be prepared to deal with all sorts of prevailing dangers.

The commandos of the special unit will be deployed on 30 sensitive installations, he added.

Moreover, the commandos also flag marched before their deployment to develop a sense of security among the citizens.

Meanwhile, Director General (DG) Rangers Sindh Major General Bilal Akbar has given deadline to remove all the barriers in the metropolis in three days.

DG Rangers stated that barriers on the name of security will not be tolerated and if they are not removed in the given span of time then indiscriminate action will be taken by the Rangers against those who will disobey the law.

Furthermore he said that impediments and barriers cause difficulties for the public and law enforcing agencies to conduct their operations.
