ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The security forces on Friday night conducted countrywide search operations and arrested several suspects to avoid any unfortunate incident on Pakistan Day Parade in the capital.
According to the details, the security forces conducted search operations in different cities including Rawalpindi, Quetta and Lahore and arrested several suspects. The police and the Pakistan Rangers have been high alerted in connection with the Mach 23 parade in the capital. The security forces are arresting suspects and criminals belonging to banned outfits from different cities.
The police and the Frontier Corps (FC) conducted a combined operation on the Jail Road, Manu Jan Road and Sabzal Road and arrested as many as 25 suspects. The security forces shifted them to unidentified location.
Separately, the police arrested several suspects from different areas of Lahore in different operations.
Moreover, the law enforcers have started to evacuate several hotels in Rawalpindi. The owners of the hotel chains are been advised to not let rooms to tourists, locals or anybody for at least three days.
Furthermore, land connections between the twin cities including Faizabad Interchange have been seized until March 23.
