Summary Statements against party leadership and Rehman Malik prove costly for Abdul Qadir Patel
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has on Thursday suspended the president of its Karachi chapter Abdul Qadir Patel for not following party discipline. Patel had made some statements in media against party leadership and former Interior Minister Rehman Malik a few days back in view of the awarding of Senate tickets, Dunya News reported.
Abdul Qadir Patel was suspended by Taj Haider on the advice of Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah. Notification of his suspension from the post has been issued. However, Patel’s basic membership is still intact.
