LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday has ordered the federal and provincial governments to issue pending pensions of the pensioners within a week.
According to the details, the petitioner told the court that the government is not issuing the pending pensions of the retired people. The court ordered the federal and the provincial government to provide pensions to the senior citizens within a week otherwise the Chief Secretary Punjab would be ordered to appear before the court in the next hearing.
After the hearing an elderly pensioner fell sick and the fellow pensioners gave him water. He was shifted to a nearby dispensary.
