ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Thursday increased power tariff by 81 paisas per unit on the request of K-Electric, Dunya News reported.
According to Nepra, the electricity tariff has been increased under the fuel adjustment plan for the month of January.
The new tariff will not be applicable on consumers using less than 50 units.
The K-Electric had sought raise in power tariff, stating that fuel cost for power generation in January was increased by Rs 810.41 million.
