SARGODHA (Dunya News) – Youhanabad mob victim Babar Nauman on Thursday has been laid to rest in Jhawaryan area of Sargodha. The funeral was offered in tight security and Shahpur Road was seized by the police.
According to the details, a large number of people attended the funeral including Sargodha District Coordination Officer (DCO) and District Police Officer (DPO).
Earlier, the police had buried the body in Miyani Sahib Graveyard, Lahore for the time until his family came to receive the body. The Judicial Magistrate had accepted the application filed by late Nauman’s parents, Akhtar and Khadija for his grave.
On March 18, Akhtar’s DNA sample was collected as a part of legal-formality to confirm the identity of the victim. The DNA samples matched and Thursday morning the body was handed over to the family for final prayers and burial.
The parents have demanded Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif to order arrests and stern action against the people responsible for their son’s killing.
