KARACHI (Dunya News) – Rangers Spokesperson on Friday informed that 3 gangwar operatives were killed during Rangers action. The clash between Rangers and the suspects occurred in Reksar Lane area of Karachi. The suspects belonged to Baba Ladla group. On the other hand, 2 gangwar suspects were arrested from Layari Baghdadi area of Karachi after a clash with the police.
The gangwar operatives killed in Reksar Lane have identified as Mohammed Heesum, Azhar and Waseem Ahmed. The suspects were not only involved in target killing of 23 people but were also running an organized kidnapping for ransom network for the past 4 years. According to the Rangers Spokesperson, one officer was also injured during the exchange of fire.
Meanwhile extortion slips and ammunintion was found from suspects arrested in Layari Baghdadi area. According to the police the suspects were involved in extortion along with other serious crimes.
Rangers also conducted a search operation in Gulistan-e-Johar and arrested 17 suspected individuals.
