ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz on Thursday has ordered to complete the ongoing energy plans and directed to establish project implementation unit.
11th meeting of Cabinet Committee for energy chaired by PM Nawaz was held in Islamabad today.
The participants of the meeting were briefed over the development of Jamshuru 660 Megawatts power plant after which PM ordered to complete the project till 2018. The administration also put forward the latest developments in Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) project.
PM Nawaz ordered to restrict the electricity load-shedding to six hours in urban areas and eight hours in rural areas.
Committee told the premier that these projects would be completed under the public sector development program.
Moreover, PM Nawaz showed his positive response and lauded the efforts of the committee.
