KARACHI (Web Desk) – The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Coordination Committee has summoned an emergency meeting of all the party MNAs, MPAs, senators and other members today (Wednesday), Dunya News reported.

The MQM has appealed media to avoid issuing statements or analysis in favour or against the party.
Earlier on Tuesday, the MQM spokesperson said in a statement that MQM member of National Assembly Nabil Gabool has resigned from his assembly seat on personal and domestic engagements.
The spokesman said that due to some personal reasons Gabol was unable to provide necessary time and attention to his constituency to resolve public issues.
He said that party had advised him to resign from the seat and Gabol had submitted his resignation to the National Assembly Speaker.
Gabol had won NA-246 seat in Karachi on MQM’s ticket.
He is also expected to hold a press conference in Islamabad on Wednesday to give details of his resignation and his future plans in politics.
