LONDON (Online) - Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said Islam and terrorism are two different things.

Talking to media in London on Tuesday, he said it has been negated to correlate Islam with terrorism in the unanimously approved resolution at the Washington summit.

The Minister said some forces are fulfilling extremists  agenda by linking Islam with terrorism. He said 99 percent of the people, who died in the war on terror, were Muslims and how Islam can propagate militancy. He said a section of western society is jesting Muslims  religious personalities for its vested interests.

He said the west must do more to stop the spread of Islamophobia and to vilify the great religion of Islam. He said the entire Muslim world condemned the attack on a satirical journal in Paris, but how irony it was that the paper republished caricatures of the Holy Prophet and this practice must be stopped.

Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan stressed the need for regional and international coalition against terrorism.

He said relationship between the United States and Pakistan are improving more and both the countries have unanimous views to curb terrorism.
